Kristin Cooper-Herby has been coming up with stories in her head since childhood. Born in Northern California, Kristin moved to North Idaho when she was 12. The awkward years of being a homely, gawky, adolescent in a new place taught her to go with the flow and look at life with a sense of humor. Kristin began with acting out stories in play productions and commercials. Later in life, Kristin discovered a talent and passion for writing. STEWY BABY FINDS A HOME is Kristin’s first children’s book. After Stewy Baby Finds a Home is Kristin’s first chapter book: Stewy Baby and the Cone of Shame and Stewy Baby Meets Santa’s Creepy Elves were released in 2016. Stay tuned for Book number Four- Stewy Baby Gets New Neighbors.

Kristin lives in Coeur d ‘Alene, Idaho with her husband, twin children, 2 dogs and a cat. Kristin loves to share her passion for reading, writing and laughing with children.

Stewy Baby was born in Superior, Montana. She was adopted by her special humans and now lives in Coeur d ‘Alene, Idaho. Stewy loves chewing anything she can put in her mouth, warm snuggles, hikes on Canfield Mountain and school visits with children.

Stewy’s best friend is Sam, the wiener dog- even though he has horrible breath. Stewy hopes to visit every elementary school in the United States. Arf!

Stewy Baby is a certified therapy dog. She looks forward to visiting children’s hospitals in the near future.
